Gary loves apple pie! He decided to make one himself...

I think he liked the way it turned out. He usually eats every bite/crumb of pie and he didn't this time so I'm not 100% sure!

He did a good job and it turned out cute with the hearts on top!

The boys got hair cuts this weekend and now are ready for good weather!

Wicked the Musical

Gary and I had a great trip to Portland to see !

It was really nice to be doing something different

and to be able to enjoy it without kids climbing all over or interrupting.

We went with my family (Dad Mom Greg and Megan).

Dad thanks for inviting us to the play!

Gary even said that he enjoyed it (he stayed awake YEA).

It was very interesting to watch after seeing the Wizard of Oz

so many times growing up that it made Wicked very fun to watch!

I definitely would recommend this play. It was Awesome!

Surgery

Gary's Shoulder Surgery

On Feb. 9th Gary slipped on some ice on the front porch and tore his rotator cuff muscle on his right shoulder. He went through a lot of doctors exams for almost a month and then had surgery on March 5th. The doctor said that he cleaned and removed bone spurs and then replaced his muscles back down. He did fine that day but by the time the block wore off he was in a lot of pain. We had an ER visit that night and since then he seems to be managing his pain if there is any...He is doing better and will start physical therapy at the end of March. He is looking forward to be able to ride his motorcycle again!
